Dr. Rebecca Stepien is board certified in the specialty of Cardiology through the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM). She has been a Clinical Professor of Cardiology at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine since 1994. Her research interests include naturally-occurring mitral valve disease in whippets, epidemiology and diagnosis of systemic hypertension in dogs and cats, cardiac effects of systemic illness and clinical research design.
