Two views of the thorax are available for interpretation. The cardiac silhouette is mildly enlarged. The pulmonary vasculature is unremarkable. Wet hair artifact is present along the ventrum. There is no evidence of congestive heart failure.
Clinical History
Mickey is a 14-year-old male castrated domestic medium hair cat. He was referred by his primary care veterinarian after a new heart murmur was appreciated during an annual wellness appointment. He is eating well, with rare vomiting noted once to twice per month. The client reports no change in urinary habits or bowel movements, normal activity, no syncope, no change in respiratory status, and a calm demeanor.
